Ken snuck a last lap in to top Eli, Adam, and Cooper. McElrath was consistently faster than Sexton. Kawasaki must be using aluminum, or other non-steel spoke nipples on A.C.'s front wheel.

 

With the many different wheel/ brake disc issues the Kawasaki and other teams have experienced that have cost their team a championship, I've been surprised team manager Dan Fahie hasn't engineered some quick-change technologies and practices into their wheel changing procedures.

 

Given that Dan's background is in road racing...

What little bits I have heard is that he is going to retire (waiting on something with insurance), do some riding schools, and I think he has a furniture store he owns.

 

Great racing today, overall, I thought.

He effed up his knee back in Dec and.was to miss all 2020 SX season.

 

He did indeed show up and race. Never earned a mention until they read the entire finishers.

 

He raced today? Good new if so!

 

I was mistaken. Others hear projected he would race tonight. He didn't show up.

 

Strange looking track last night, IMO, looked pretty narrow but made for a good main event

Been raining off and on yesterday and today, at times pretty hard
It will be interesting to see how wet the dirt is at the stadium.

 

I believe a heavy storm moved through there sometime overnight, I see it's just moved past SLC recently. Flood warnings issued.

No 'Race Day Feed' posted on Racer-X site yet. Late start for them, after an 8:30 AM start last week. Last week they'd updated race conditions long before now. Perhaps schedule on hold, for track prep?

 

The 250 heat race 1 just finished.
It's still raining pretty good at my place, but I'm ~30 miles or so from the stadium. They will have another bit of rain hit them in a half hour or so.

Well shit, I just realized this is a replay of Wednesday. So not sure what's going on at the stadium.
