Maybe a 25 pound sledge hammer will be more appropriate.... sometimes you just want to beat the hell out of something......

I'll be there for the weekend and doing the endurance Friday on a Whyte Racing Kawi :D
The program sure is cool this year with the celebrations, the historic bikes and riders, etc.
    It's gonna be a blast !

A buddy of mine is going to be Yvon Duhamel and his wife's private driver for the weekend. He's gonna talk his ears off lol

A week end license for a non-member costs 80 cents. Which makes me think this just might be a trap to lure us up North.
The schedule includes Friday practice, Saturday heat races (for grids) and Sunday finals. No cost for the heats - you only pay for the race. So 4 races and heats and practice is $284.
This must be a trap. We all may be asking WERA members for ransom money soon enough....

When I saw Duff's name, I had a vision of Scudder salivating on himself.

    Looks like a great event.

Probably in the context of being as hard as nails. Not given the credit for going to Europe on his own at a young age and in his work for Yamaha as they started out in GP's.

    Yes, definitely in that context.

Hell, Listed above Duhamel and Read on the banner.....

No way would I put him above Read, he was a hard bastard too and a far better rider.

Official race results say Yvon retired

I initially replied thinking he only rode in the 250 race though. Didn't know he race in 500 till I looked it up

Then he must have pushed his bike to the finish line to get fourth place... lol
