Where does the RC51 get its name?

It does not apply to the RC51 the way it does with the V-4s. Per VIN the RC51 is SC45.

Whatabout an RC31 (NT650 Hawk)?

 

Yeah, I went back and looked in the Honda Motorcycle Identification Guide. 500-600 look like they are PCs and 650-899 are RCs.

 

The RC designation for factory racers may actually be Racing Chassis but the only documentation i have refers to production bikes and the VDN.

Anybody know?

I the rocket is old news. I believe they have something currently returning from outerspace by that name.

 

Obviously I'm not up to speed with Japanese rocket technology. However I have have a daughter who knows how to operate a Patriot missile battery.
