What's with all the FZR400s???

Probably the coolest race bike I ever owned back in the day. Now they are everywhere. Cheaters, all of you!!!

 

Yup!! Love mine even more now with a 400 engine instead of the 600 I was running in it.

Stuck a rebuilt Fox twin clicker and proper springs in the legs.

 

Nice!! My first year racing the FZR was on stock suspension.That was interesting

 

I tried to track it a few time with the stock 1988 stuff. Confidence inspiring wasn't even a thought

 

Actually at that time,the FZR was the best handling bike id ever ridden/had. I was used to old triumphs,an enfield and a 1982 gpz750.

 

What are those round things on the front? And those yellow things on the fairing?
