Going to be there next week for work. Two nights free to do as we please. Not looking for hookers, blow, or extreme late night parties. What'cha got?
The Aquarium is nice, Navy Pier. Whatever you do not eat the bread bowl full of sauce they call pizza.
Well then you don't have any idea what real pizza tastes like if you don't like Chicago pizza. There are more choices than deep dish. And it's better than any POS pizza from NY
Ok if you say so. But you are correct although the deep dish crap is what is most famous. There is also the stuffed crap and the thin crust crap that is like a cracker
JUST STAY AWAY FROM JUST OUTSIDE DOWNTOWN!!!!! gun fights every night. robbery central . bad stuff going down. and they can sense out of towners. stay down near the lake lots of stuff to do right down town
incredible restaurants. Hit one of Rick Bayless's restaurants, the Publican, any number of steak houses, any number of Italian beef or dog stands. Go to a blues club, seriously, it's a must in Chicago. Do the sears tower (it will always be named that to me)
Oh bullshit. Besides, SC CCW is not honored in IL Plenty to do. Where will you be staying? That will give me a hint of what's close and what's easy to get to.
Staying at the W Beac. Oh, I'm not oppose Bandit.....just not looking to get fired at the work meeting.
Check out one of the improv comedy shows. We did that last year. It was a pleasant surprise. We had a lot of laughs. I’m not sure where exactly it was or what the name of the place was, but it was a relatively small venue. Good luck.
I'll be back in the area in just a few weeks. I love downtown Chicago but I haven't decided yet what I might do there this next time. I've already done most of the touristy stuff. However, just walking along the river gives me a smile every time I go there. Enjoy your visit!
I helped design one of those tools that's about to hit the market and if you're looking for a battery powered drill that'll snap your wrist if you get stupid sounds like fun, just sit tight for 6 months.
