And black shoe face is wrong, too. https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle...tion-was-never-to-inflict-any-pain/ar-BBTuxCW
Comedy and revenge. The governor in VA ran an entire campaign calling his opponent racist, then shows up in a klan outfit for his yearbook. Though I do get your point. It is fun to point out just how thoroughly racist the Democrat party is when they constantly accuse others.
That's the great irony here. Northam ran ads featuring a pickup truck with a rebel flag chasing after blacks accusing Ed Gillespie of being a racist. Honestly, the ad itself was offensive. Once again proves, those pointing fingers and accusing are most likely the guilty party.
A person would have to be completely fucking retarded to take offense to those shoe. Tasteless, yes. Offensive? Only if you have a vivid imagination and a victim complex...
30 years ago it may have been a joke or a costume but even then it was racist as fuck and they knew it. It was not okay or acceptable. In the 19th and early 20th centuries it was more accepted but still racist as hell. But 30, no way no how nuh uh.
How exactly is it racist though? Only be association to old ass shows from the 19th century. If a white dude dresses as Michael Jackson for Halloween and uses makeup to make his skin darker, how is that racist? He was a black-ish guy.
Wearing makeup to look darker is not the same as black face. Black face is and always has been make up used in shows that were inherently racist and were entirely based on black folks being lesser/stupider people. Again - black face and wearing makeup to look like a black person are NOT the same thing. No matter how it's being used by stupid people.
Agreed that the blackface as used in the old timey minstrel shows shouldn’t be used. Now the lefties are conflating any use of makeup to make the skin darker as the same thing though and calling it “blackface.” To them, there is no dinstinction and they’ve gotten ridiculous. They get ridiculous with everything.
Yeah, them calling tan makeup blackface is bullshit, but nothing new there. I'm only talking about real blackface.
I don’t think too many of the people who they’ve tarred and feathered for blackfacing were using the old timey “look like a tar baby” blackface. They’re crying because people are dressing like black people and using makeup. The lefties often have a genuinely good point at the very basic level, but then go absolutely bonkers with virtue signaling and become completely irrational.
