    caferace No.

For me, I'd be all over the FJR1300ES.

    You?

Never heard an FJR described as a "sportcruiser".... Been there, done that- just too unwieldy for 90% of the riding I want to do.

Fz1. I have first gen. Ride it around town like a supermoto, heavy enough for long distance and I can still kick most people's asses in the twistys. Can even do a Trackday no problem.

Multistrada? It blends most segments together. It's comfortable, turns well, and has enough power to keep you smiling.

something without a chain drive? FJR was cool... I enjoyed the Kawi Concourse slightly more.

Fz9 would be a cool bike to hustle up some back roads with a tank & tail bag.

1 bike that does it all? As long as your criteria does not include long distance comfort for a pillion...

2018+ Street Triple 765 RS <--my future bike
    2017 Aprilia Tuono
    2013-2017 Street Triple R 675 ABS <--budget friendly
Gen 4 ZX-10R ABS with comfort mods. <--my current bike, budget friendly liter bike

I've tried all the Sport Touring bikes and owned a couple of them. Great on the open highway but too many sacrifices in other places. YMMV.

roy826ex Been around here a while

I'd have to go Kawasaki C14 hands down even though the FJR is a little more refind but just not the rocket ship the C14 is down the superslab.

I'm thinking more along the lines of doing consecutive 300 mile days. HAVE to have a decent fairing.
