What is the best movie for playing spot/name the celebrity/actor? Quality of the movie is not part of the this, well at least not for me. My answer: Cannonball Run II. Do they even make movies with this many "stars" or has been "stars" in them anymore?
It isn't a movie, but the original Miami Vice tv show has tons of appearances by well known actors. I wouldn't call them cameos because this is more of "before they were stars" type stuff. My friends and I have been going through the series season by season and spend most of the time on IMDB looking up faces that we think are familiar.
Depends on the era. Growing up I remember seeing a flick called "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" having a boatload of cameos and actors from back in the day. But you're right - it doesn't seem like there's too many movies doing it nowadays. For TV cameos, Entourage has been killing it - the John Heard / Tom Sizemore appearances this week were hilarious.
Cannonball Run. But I'm a bit biased. I've very tight with the guy who played the dude who ran the entire race riding a wheelie accross the country on a motorcycle.
Wasn't there one this year called Valentine's Day or Valentine date or something? I think that one had a ton of stars.
Not large numbers of actors, but spot Dennis Hopper in Rebel Without a Cause. He does not have a major role.
Just about any black and white WWII movie is good for spotting guys who went on to be stars. Hehe, start with The Longest Day.
