OK, here's my list: - Financial Independence, Retire Early - FIRE, but I don't want to do it like the hipster millenials on Reddit living in tiny houses in the middle of Washington state. I want to have money to do other things. - Go back to Europe a few more times. So many places I haven't seen - Visit Asia - Dive the western part of the Pacific and the Indian Ocean - Pilot's license The travel stuff is totally doable. I'm working on FIRE now - cleared debt, investing/trading, lowering my expenses. When I get enough money into the trading account that I generate the same or more than I bring home, I'm start looking at ejecting from the day job. The pilot's license, unfortunately, will likely have to wait until then.
1) Why? Ron Swanson said it is a garbage continent. He is not wrong. "Look, a clock. We don't have that in America." 2) Why?
I guess parts of it are okay. The UK does not suck, Germany is okay, I like Switzerland and Slovenia and Slovakia kind of rule. The Czech republic is full up with "artists." France, well, france is a bubbling cesspool of lazy cheese eaters, the smell of shit and the evils of socialism. Belgium is just bizarre, like SFO with waffles and dudes in tight pants. You have fun with with your experiencing stuff. Asia is kind of funny, China at least. Like the three stooges but with everyone in on the act. knuck knuck knuck.
Get my kid established into adulthood. Get my wife healthy enough to leave the house for more than a couple days at a time. Go to Australia. Retire in 25 years with no debt a decent rv and enough money that my kid can pay off his house when I kick the bucket.
-Visit England, Japan and Egypt (if it ever calms down over there); -Ride dirtbikes with my son and later on, big bikes on the streets; -Buy my uncle Roger's mint '81 Corvette; -Make nice long motorcycle trips; -Retire somewhere with less winter;
I really enjoyed London but it helped to have a free place to stay as well as having a number of really good friends that live there. Spending a year or two there would be great.
What's the issue going on with the wife if you don't mind? Mines got Addisons, pace marker, port installed. She's good for a bit then down for the count.
LOL. Belgium is a place I wanted to go until this. I enjoyed where I was in France and a friend/coworker is from Brittany and says its nicer there too (he's not biased or anything). I want to see Spain and maybe Portugal, or at least parts of it.
After years of unresolved issues, thinking possibly some sort of autoimmune problem, her PCP basically giving up and continuing to keep throwing antibiotics at her just so she would get some relief; we were referred to a new doc who figured out she has Lyme Disease. That diagnosis makes a lot of her struggles over the last few years make sense, including her "antibiotic addiction". Now that she has a doc who has had quite a bit of experience treating it, we can move forward....slowly, but it progress.
I lost my first match and won my second match and lost in doubles. I'm fighting an infection and played anyways but my lack of energy and power affected my play a lot. In my beginner group I feel I was the best player but not on that day due to my health. It was also 90 degrees out and sunny which made it even harder. I probably should have stayed home but still glad I went to gain the experience for next time.
- Get a house in the woods - Race a MA round, season, + - Spend more time with family - Travel the world and eat all kinds of food - Tour the country on an old goldwing - Work a job that I want to wake up for
