Were the Mikuni TM carburetors a common aftermarket item

    I have a 2000 Aprillia Rs250 and it has unidentified size Mikuni TM carbs. The bike needs the choke on to run very well. Is this a common aftermarket item once rolling the bike runs really strong. Also once warm it starts easily by grabbing the back wheel and spinning it as long as the choke is on.
    Should i try going up a size on the idle or main jets.

    Sounds like plugged pilot jets.

    Sudco will have all the parts you can eat for that carb.
