I think it's a perfect analogy. Anna could have said "Clinton keeps popping up like a bad penny) or something like that but it would not have had the impact like the comparison to herpes. Hell, Clinton probably has herpes. (did I just say that?)
The Clintons have been "flaring up" every 4 years since 1992. Sounds like a National viral infection to me. You get "The Trumps" maybe once.....hurts a little..but it goes away. You get "The Clintons" and you never get rid of that shit apparently. The adult industry made Bushes go out of style. ;-)

Double down, triple down, quadruple down. Once you double down and tell them to fuck off, they move on to softer targets. She should’ve said: “You’re right. Hillary’s not just like herpes. She’s also like Chron’s disease and malaria.” Then when they cry about that, start naming other chronic conditions.
Probably more apt but it’s not as emotionally satisfying or dramatic. Herpes is perfect. She’s like herpes that causes cancer.
