    In using Google translate, I am getting conflicting information for word translation, especially when I reverse the process. Looking at using a Latin name for a business name, so I do want it to be correct. PM me if you think you can assist.

    @DrA5

    what's the name you're searching on?
    As both Latin and Latin derivatives (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, etc..) have contextual differences that change the meaning.

    I went to alter boy training cus my friends were making 25/50 pounds per wedding and funeral.
    My money making was seasonal at 11 years old, giving pony rides on the beach....on a 3,000 pound grade A show jumping pony.
    20 pence a ride for roughly 100 feet.
    I'd make 30 to 40 quid a day.

    Alter boy training first day...I couldn't contain my laughter...I'd given up on religion at 9 years old.

    Two nuns and a Reverend Daniel O'Callahan (brothers & sisters) on my mum's side.... secretary to Bishop Buddy, who found University of San Diego.

    FWIW: It's altar boy

    As fossil stated, "altered boy" is something entirely different. <Jimmy Buffet>
