Watching this Motogp rookies videos leaves me with a question.....

does Francesco Bagnaia use a regular shift pattern? Unless motogp bikes have a weird tranny, he clicked down for first to leave pit lane.

Moto GP fear boxes are all down with a locked neutral. If you want to get in neutral there’s a lever to pull then it will go in, its there so there’s never a false neutral.

 

I vaguely remember something funky about the Ducati gearboxes. It was in a video in which some guys were going over the details of a privately owned example.

 

They have a weird tranny

 

bautista said the current factory ducati transmission was different than anything he's ever ridden, like that it's so smooth you don't get any feedback from the shifting so that's why he crashed.

 

I couldt find a vid of him downshifting the ducati, but i saw other bikes with the up for down racing pattern.

 

Bautista has 1000 different excuses for crashing because, well, that's about how many times he's crashed.

 

What's his excuse for the rest of his impressive career crash count?

Completely honest, his crashing helped me make my decision when I decided on forma boots,, I was like well if he can crash as much as he does and be safe they are good enough for me!!
