Anybody use a Vortex front fairing bracket. I need a new bracket on my GSXR. I've never seen the Vortex bracket in person, but the pictures I've seen look a little odd.

    Thoughts?

I have one on my 05' GSXR 600. Works good and is lighter than stock, Just do not overtighten the bolts for the ram-air ducts. You will collapse the tube on the stay.

Use zip ties on the stay to the tubes. Just drill another hole in the tube for the ziptie.

I have one on my 04 gsxr6. it's ok, but I would go with a morse racing one (or similar) as the "ears" are replacable for much less than the whole bracket. once I tear mine up that's the plan... my buddy has the morse unit on his sv650 and it fits great. you can even (sorta) adjust the arms. morse stuff can be found by contacting gp composites - i guess they're a sister company or something.
