i'm posting this for a friend who organizes things there,and i hope its not considered spam as we're both just trying to grow the sport in Virginia and the Carolina's.

Dirt section MAY be a possibility if the stars align in miraculous fashion. If not, we will be pavement only. We are working diligently, every single day, to make the dirt a reality. Thank you for your patience!*

Tech opens at 1PM on Saturday and will be enforced. Those arriving after 2PM will have to be teched by a staff member before being allowed on track, no exceptions. If only racing on Sunday, I will be available to tech bikes starting at 7AM, track goes hot at 8AM for practice. Run groups of Kids, Minis and Big Bikes will be split accordingly on Saturday. Please make every attempt to be on time!

We will be camping at the track, I encourage everyone else to do the same. It'll be a blast! If you are riding on Saturday night, make sure you have your lights are turned OFF or UNPLUGGED, head and taillight. If you can't unplug, use tape that you can not see light through.


PLEASE READ TECH REQUIREMENTS, NEW FOR 2012. Help will be available at track if needed. Catch cans can be as simple as a bottle if needed.

When: Saturday, October 27th from 2pm-10pm and Sunday (RACING ONLY), October 28th, 2012, from 8am-3pm
Price: $50 for Saturday if racing on Sunday $65 if not. Sunday, class structure pricing below applies. Cash or credit/debit on site.
Camping is available for $35 per car/truck/tent, RVs or Campers if not plugged in to VIR power are now only $35.

October 27-28 SM Racing Fees:

Saturday practice 2pm-10pm: $65, $50 if racing Sunday. Kids will be $20 with paid adult due to new insurance regulations. (Money may be collected at front gate, trying to get that fixed and moved back to kart track, will advise.)

Sunday 8am-3pm: $50 for first class, $25 for each additional class up to 3 total classes. Anything over 3 classes is free. Pro classes with % payback are $50. Stock CRF/XR100 class is $20 as a stand-alone entry, or $10 as an addition to get more riders into the sport. Kids, $20. (Collected at Kart track during signup on Saturday night on Sunday for late comers)

Tech Requirements:
Remove mirrors
No leaking fluids
Catch can for coolant, fuel if carb'd, and crank case can or vented to airbox (Most street legal bikes are vented to intake, anyway)
Tape up lights
Racing on Sunday, Safety wire or RTV on Oil and Water drain and fill plugs is required
Legible, visible, and easy to read numbers required on front plate and side plates if racing on Sunday, not required for just Saturday practice.
Water+Waterwetter or Engine Ice for coolant
Sliders not required but encouraged
Tech rules may be subject to change in the future as needed.

Gear Requirements: A jacket, knee pads under pants, boots, gloves, and a helmet should be considered the minimum gear required, with leathers or MX gear with pad/braces and a compression suit with MX or roadrace boots being ideal. *Hard back protector STRONGLY encouraged* Nobody wants to get hurt and ride away in an ambulance, it will ruin your day/week/year.

Saturday is 911 based, Sunday, ambulance will be on site. Please keep this in mind when riding.
