I'm to the point in my life where I'm sick of using zip ties to do this shit. My KTM just had threaded upper stay so that was nice. What do the pros use? I thought it was well nuts but the holes are too big in the fairing stay on my R1. Educate.
i bought a set of these and drilled out one set of the nut-serts on my ionemoto fairing stay for my zx10r https://www.gravesport.com/products/graves-works-fairing-quick-release-plugs.html theyre nice but it raises the upper fairing about 5-10mm overall and it took a bit of bending of my perfectly fitting fairing stay to make everything line up again, kind of regret doing that now
