FYI. The bikes I have seen with the 16" front (NJMiniGP bikes) have 16" black Excels laced up front and rear. I don't know if they're both the same widths or if they run 100/110 or 110/110 tires. Keith/KSR Wheels in PA does the swaps for a lot of those guys.

Ok I’m gonna glom onto this discussion. Todd pointed out in another thread that on the KLX140L the 19” front rim is 28 spokes like the 16” rear. my question is, how do I determine if the spokes are the same from front to rear (aside from being shorter). I want to eventually do the 16” front on this 140 I’m getting.
Hey Mark: Not a lot of info on KLX mini moto bikes out there, it seems. But I found something that may be useful: KLX140 mini moto build --> Mentions 17 inch rims: Sun rims (bought from someone on planet mini) 2.75x17 3.50x17 Note: If you have a youtube account, might be able to contact the guy since his video was made in just 2018. This post is older but you may be able to glean enough info by reverse engineering what this Dad did to convert his son's KLX140 to a big wheel --> https://thumpertalk.com/forums/topic/795807-klx-140-to-klx140l-what-is-needed/
Dropping the air pressure into the teens dramatically reduced tire chatter, especially on entry. Thanks for the suggestions.
