I am currently talking with George at Pit Bull about making some TRS pins for the CRF100. How many here would buy a set if available?
interested, but I couldn't commit to buying a set... would this hold it by the axle like a big bikes, or would it utilize the hole in the right side of the swing-arm? (can't envision how it would work on the left side) It would get annoying to have to un-wire and re-wire the rear axle just for the sake of transport. Straps might actually be quicker.
Interesting concept but I'd bet a lot of guys would have to spend more on the pins and the mounting stuff than they have in their 100s.
Looks like George is gonna start working on them in the next couple weeks. Will post when they're available.
I sent my 03 XR100 axle to George last week, received it this week, he said he'll get on it quickly. I'll try to check back in with an update.
haha I've dropped at least 3 times, on the trailer, trying to get situated with the straps that I've forgotten how to use since I got my TRS.
Something like what they made for the grom. I bet the Ohio Mini road racers would buy some they get a bunch of XR100s at there races.
Looks like they're now available. XR100 and CRF100 rear axle is the same part #. Just ordered mine. Thanks Simon!
F0075KD-001 Don't think it's on the site yet. Also, george did mention that axle protectors make a difference. It is a different part # if you have them.
In the "you won't believe this" files, I went to order one of these the other day and George told me they were sold out. He couldn't believe it either.
Cause everyone has a XR100 pit bike. I tried to get a company to make some parts for the XR100 and they said to limited of a market, I was like are you out of your mind the bike has not changed in 30 years they are everywhere.
So it was kind of touched in this thread, so I'll bring it up again. Is there any plans from Pit Bull to make some kind of TRS attachment for the Zuma's? I want to get rid of my dirt bike pit bike for a Zuma, but refuse to unless I can use a TRS (Yes I'm kind of spoiled).
