What track day is one the 8th??? The only one that i know of is Cycle Options and they have theirs on the April 1/2, or 2/3, whichever the consecutive Sat/Sun is. Who is puttin it on?
For Cycle options you do not have to have a license or a wired bike. They have two sessions every 20 minutes. racer and non racer. Best 100 bucks you'll ever spend for a 8 to 5 day of track time. Kenny Baker, Cycle options, 513-751-5151 Thanks Ben Napier RMS Racing WERA 16
How much is Bell's track day, and what is the price of it??? I'll burn up a set on both days so I got to save the cash. I gott get better discount on tire
Ok there Mick Doohan. Burning up a set of tires a day? If you're buying that many, send me your take-offs! Try Michelin Pilots as they last quite a long time, especially for track days. I'll use one set for 2 track weekends (not races) and they're not that bad, even in the rain. Of course if I had my choice I'd have new tires every time I ride the damn thing, but I race paycheck to paycheck so sometimes they have to last a little longer!
Thanks Diesel, but I just couldn't resist. I know a couple friends of mine that throw away perfectly good tires because they subscribe to the factory racer theory. I know there are advantages to new tires, it's just that with my limited budget I can't afford to do it. Not to mention my limited riding abilities, but that's a whole other story.
So what exactly is the exchange rate from "bones" to the North Georgia "bucks" currency? Is it the same as coastal South Carolina's "clams" to "bucks"?
Sorry WERA 122, I don't have the cash either. I burned up my last two sets of scuffs at track days last year and I had 1 left on the bike and they will only last another session so I gotta pick up another set of take-offs for it. Thanks for the Doohan line, but IU'm not retiring yet
That's OK WERA 16, I was just busting your chops a little. The closer we get to the weekend, the goofier I get. I love having 2 days off to act up and not have to be anywhere. I know what you mean about tires. Mine are cooked and I need new ones, not to mention I bought a spare set of rims and need some take-offs for those. But alas, it's only money and will make tire swaps that much easier, instead of having to take my rims off and wait in line.
Every one has waited in line at the Dunlop tent. Hell, I waited just to get decals, but that's the way it goes. I plan to run Pirellis this season since they changed them, now they have changes them again. There's is no tread whatsoever on the side, and it's all in the middle. SWWEEEETT!!
