The return of Husqvarna too....road racing

Kind of interesting. But I expect it'll be like Gilera/Aprilia of the 250GP days. Same bike, just rebadged.

 

It is just a KTM with husqvarna stickers on it. Makes sense since their dirty bikes are just KTMs now.

 

I wonder if it has anything to do with new 2014 rule that engines will be sealed and distributed randomly by DORNA/FIM... A lot easier to make sure "your" team gets the correct engines if you only have 2 riders.

 

Hmmm, that'd be kinda tricky.

 

They really should call it a KTM with full sponsorship by the Husqvarna brand.

I love Huskies, but there's nothing Husqvarna about it :-(

 

I may be off, but I thought there were multiple engine makes in moto3. How can those be shuffled up?

 

No different than when Simoncelli rode for Gilera which was just an aprilia...

Both are owned by Piaggio group.

Same as Husky is owned by KTM.

 

It will be not be a "free for all", Honda teams wil be getting Honda engines, KTM teams gets the KTM engines....
