I think Petrucci has accomplished all he set out to in GP. Dude won at Mugello. He doesn’t have the build or the raw talent to be a title contender. What more is there for him to do?

I’d like to see him in WSBK.

Anyone know what's up with Herrin? Little surprised that Yosh didn't renew his seat already.

 

It was somewhat covered in another thread. Yoshimura USA doesn't even know if they are racing next year. They are all waiting on Suzuki Japan to decide what is going to happen.

Man, this will suck if that’s what he’s announcing. Only guy to beat Marc over a season. I think a Yamaha-equipped, healthy Lorenzo is the only rider who could beat Marc again.

 

I think he’s lost the passion with his injuries. I don’t think he’d be great if he went back to Yamaha. Sad to see him go. I liked him as a heel.

 

That sucks if he's retiring, but at the same time, he has taken some hard hits the last few years and the motivation may be gone. I was never a huge fan of his, but I will miss hammer butter with his scarf flailing in the wind.

If he does retire, I wonder if Yamaha or Suzuki try to scoop him up as a test rider.
