If Lorenzo were to do the same thing I don't reckon he would catch too much flack for it. I know he is tough as all hell, but riding around with broken vertebrae just seems unnecessary.
What is really happening with KTM and Moto 2? They are not doing anything official, but what about their riders that are not going to MotoGp next tear, especially Jorge Martin? Tech 3 is moving their effort to Moto 3, correct?
Ajo is switching to Kalex or Speed Up with Martin, and possibly Zarco on the second bike, all other existing KTM teams are completely cutting the ties with KTM.
Where are they getting the funding from? New chassis, even if they buy used is gonna cost them a f@cktruck load of cash.
Two years ago they were on NTS, and last year switched to KTM, so unfortunately they have spent a bunch on equipment. I hope Joe is still with them next year and gets the opportunity to ride the Kalex.

They were never on NTS's, I think you confusing it with when Joe rode for NTS last season, American Racing is actually the old Interwetten team Lüthi used to ride for.
Honda to run a satellite team in WorldSBK - MIE Racing Team with Takahashi being the only rider so far. Not sure if it was established, but the factory WorldSBK team is "Team HRC," if that left any question to the level of support for WorldSBK?
