When he was making more than what Puig cut his pay to? Yeah. Factor in Red bull money, Arai money, Alpinestars cash and the rest of his endorsements and any bonueses, hells yeah. I doubt Puig is a 3 ~ 5% type of manager.
1. Not that it has anything to do with the amount but Pedrosa signed his last contract before Puig returned to Honda. That pay cut was decided by someone else. 2. Puig certainly did not miss out on millions on that last contract, based on the amounts reported. 3. I want some of what you're smoking.
I keep screwing up the Honda years, you are 100% right on #1. #2 His manager might have been lucky to make thousands on that thing. 3) you're wrong, I'm right and it is going to keep you awake tonight knowing it.
JLo will be fine. I think he’s learned some things from his time on the Duc. I don’t see MM getting to him like he seemingly did in the past. I think the larger and more critical question is, who in the paddock is going to give back to MM what he has been giving to everyone else. Someone needs to start roughing him up.
I think JLo’s mind games will be stellar. He got broken by the duc, then rose from the ashes. If Puig pulls some shit, George will spill it in the press coferences.
That's what Dany replied (accompanied by an Gad awful english translation for us dopes that can't read Spanish). Still don't know what Puig said.... BTW, what he said about Rossi in the linked article is far from controversial....
MM will welcome the challenge. JLo will be fine and he's the only one to have ever beat MM in a championship.
If Morbidelli can find the pace, he will beat the shit out of Marquez (physically) I suspect Lorenzo will gel with the Honda better than he did with the Duc initially and will give Marquez a run for his money when the European rounds are in full swing.
The major difference it seems is that JLo will get what he wants from Honda development. They already worked on his gas tank, etc., so it won't be two identical bikes. MM93 still wins the Chip maybe not by 4 races, but by a couple races this time. Rossi in 4th, Morbidelli in 3rd.
