Maybe The Ben listens. Looks like he was at a trackday yesterday with Jeremy McGrath. Wearing Yamaha leathers.....

Yup, looks like maybe yamaha answered his calls for some bikes to play with too. Those leathers definitely look brand new as well

And why's he on an R6?

So, he's still a traitor.

 

If I remember correctly he wanted someone to provide him with bikes to do some track days to get back up to speed and prove himself. Maybe Yamaha said "Here's an R6 kid. Prove yourself and then we'll give you an R1 to ride."

 

His suit says "R1" on it tho...

 

Might not have fit in the R6 leathers.

 

I rode with MC a long time ago. They used to all come to the Pridmore school and Jason would say "take care of these guys and keep them in check". MC, Antunez, Metzger, and others. Keep them in check.

MC didn't have a future in RR. Antunez was a good rider - wanted to learn. Metzger hauled ass.

 

Do you think Ben went to Herrin's pits and asked if he was okay after his sat crash?

He also wants someone to foot the bill for the entire team, and season, as well as pay him the same amount as he was getting in MotoGP when he left. Somehow, I don't think all that is going to happen.

 

Anybody else notice Ben's 2007 time is faster than herrins 2019 time?

Ben was great, but a lot of his fast laps coincided with a bunch of tracks being repaved. Laguna had brand new pavement for the 2006 season...

Lime Rock had twenty year old (plus) lap records because of that. New pavement and bam, those were obliterated. Watkins Glen is the same.

 

Wasn't herrins time last year in the 22's? Like a 22.9 I believe.
