The original concept looked cool. It looked like a futuristic half truck/half crossover kinda thing. But this thing is the ugliest piece of shit ive ever seen. WTF was this asshole thinking? Not to mention it is electric, so fuck that.
Machinists; will it be difficult to drill that bed for trailer restraints, assuming it’s made of the same stainless steel as the body? Also, getting up that ramp in the rain might be a serious pain.
Can you imagine running that into whatever pickup that has a carbon fiber bed? “Oh sorry, your shit’s totaled.” While you grab some Scotchbrite and clean up the scuffs on your ride? I mean, the headlight is gonna $4,000 to replace, but other than that, you’re golden. And there are tons of deer around my place. The neighbor struck two in one week with two different cars. I wonder how full that thing could keep my freezer?
Well black paint doesn't make it look better... It looks like it was designed by someone who grew up playing Minecraft but probably was not that good at it.
I'm struggling with it. I don't understand it, but I'm intrigued as shit. Right now it pisses me off.
I don't see how that thing is going to pass NHTSA crash standards, without some major revisions. Also wouldn't want to fall on the back corners while loading something in the bed(which is pretty likely unless they coat the bed and gate with anti-slip). I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they discussed the failure of the glass. Might have wanted to do that part last, just in case. The whole presentation seemed really stilted and out of sync. Kind of like Elon.
I bet they sell a shit ton too. And I bet actual deliveries will be a small fraction of what was “sold”
