Swapping motors: putting an '07 motor into an '08 R6

My current '08 R6 has a YEC Kit ECU and wiring loom, as well as a YEC ACG (race stator kit).

I have an opportunity to purchase a "built" race motor, but I just found out that the motor isn't an '08 (as I initially had thought) ... it is actually an '07 motor.

If I buy the '07 motor to install in my '08 bike, will this be a relatively straight-forward engine swap and re-tune process, or am I opening up a can of worms that would be better left alone? I would appreciate any advice the BBS could offer....TIA.
