I have a questions regarding mapping an 03 SV and this seemed like as good a thread as any. My 03 has a full M4 exhaust and the PCIIIUSB, but no other mods. Power Commander's website has maps for download, but none for the M4 full - only for Yosh and Micron. It sounds like my options are: 1. Get a custom map done - which will cost, what? about $150-200? 2. Use the Yosh or Micron full map - which may not be correct. Surely someone else has had this dilemma. Anyone used the other maps for a M4? Any suggestions? I'd really like to be able to save the $150 for other expenses, but if its really the only way to go, then so be it. To give a little more info - I bought the bike and the PCIII came with it, but it is still new in the box, so its never been mapped.
custom are really the way to go, but you will be able to get away with a downloadable until you can get a custom. Find which one works the best and run with it. A custom map is on my to do list, but pretty far down
