I need to lower the ole' motor but I don't have the Suzuki special tool for the nuts on the rear motor mounts. Does anybody know if someone makes one cheaper in the after-market or do I have to be shaken down by my local Suzuki dealer?
You have the tool. use a flat head as a drift and a hammer. I HATE not using the right tool. But in this case (especially with how much it costs) I "look the other way". Another option is to mke one out of a huge socket and some carefull torching.
like huey said one smack with the fits all driver(hammer) and reset your driver and smack it again it is only a jam nut if the big bolt falls out..
Tony, Remember you need to kick up a percentage to Pimp Daddy. I'll just collect from James at VIR & send you the difference.
Wachu talkin' 'bout, Willis!? I ain't gonna give you no cash just for the privelege of obtaining Tony's used tool. Just cause you're bigger and tougher don't give you no excuse to pick on me. I can still run faster
Tony's tool is used, but it still works maaaan! As Tony's Pimp & Pit Boss, I'll be collecting that payment when services are rendered. I don't want no funny bizzness outta you fella!
I have one.........not even used....... I think is was around 50 bucks at cost.... I like the hammer/screwdriver method better anyways.......
Damn! Are they that much? I've got that and the swingarm one too. Also have a Suzuki caliper set...wonder how overpriced that would've been
