Have a buddy who has one and wants to tag along with me to some Wera events. So what classes can this thing run in? V6 LW is one. Any others? Thanks Steven Isenhower #52
This bike has all the goodies already. Been mothballed and I'm talking him into coming out and riding it in Wera. But he is always up for parts if price is right. Steven Isenhower #52
Okay, sorry for the goofy post........V7HW too right? RC51's are legal in that class.....so no reason a superhawk wouldnt be there. Although,I didnt realise it would have been legal in V6LW(disclaimer:I havent read the RB in 2 years)and I only ever read to make sure my stuff was legal.
I ask Dustin and he said V6LW DSB and Formula 2 it was legal. So next is to get him and bike ready to come race with Wera. Thanks and goofy answers are expected here. Lol. Steven Isenhower #52
650. Bike won a bunch of Championships when Scott Denise owned it in Cmra. Bikes fast and has all the good expensive stuff done to it. Just trying to get another vintage guys on grid in Wera. Steven Isenhower #52
It's legal for V7. But just for track time. Lol. But cool to have him bring bikes out and race it instead of garage art. Steven Isenhower #52
It cant run in V7 per RB.....but I wouldnt complain. The "V" grids definately need some more bikes out there What about LW twins? Thats a 4th sprint class along with D-sbk,V6LW and formula2,then do LW Solo. Hell, 4 sprints and a solo in 1 weekend aint bad.
That's up to him what he does. Just trying to recruit more racers to come out and have fun. But thanks for help. Steven Isenhower #52
Your posts are not goofy young man 650 Hawks were NEVER referred to as Superhawks. Superhawks were either 305 in the sixties or 1000 later just before the RC51 There are plenty of slots to race the 650 Hawk. Cool bike but is a misnomer calling it a Super Hawk. I briefly owned a 1000 Superhawk and am trading my 1965 Superhawk to a buddy in the morning. Have yet to own a 650 Hawk but may some day. Very cool bikes.!
Lol. It's what guy called it. Like I have a clue, which explains why I ask what class it could run. But guess I can learn more about them now. Have a great night. Steven Isenhower #52
I was so sad when I finally reached the post saying this is not an actual superhawk. Those things were cool.
Someone throw a photo of one up. All I remember is the hawk that Erion road in AMA back in day. Super trick. Steven Isenhower #52
OK thanks. Lol He has one of those too. Putting a VFR single sided swingarm on it Steven Isenhower #52
