Is a go. Press releases will be out soon. Schedule will be up and pre entry open later today. I'll also post up what if any restrictions there are but for now assume the normal minimum of masks in crowds or outside of your pit area. Keep your distance from others and so on. We'll have sanitizer handy but bring your own pens. Not sure on registration location yet, gets too crowded in the scoring building but we'll sort it out.
Seriously? I cannot tell you to say you are crew if you want to just come spectate. That could get me in trouble with the the track or the county. So the answer I have to give is no spectators. If you're working for a rider or team as their pit crew then you are allowed. No, working does not mean paid. Yes, your family is your crew. That is always true.
One huge thing to know on this one - the concession stand will not be open at this event so bring your own food and drink and such. Pass that word to anyone you can think of who may show up and let them know.
Schedule is up here - http://www.wera.com/pdfs/eventschedule/summit060720.pdf and pre entry is open for the sprint races. Endurance pre goes through the N2 site same as last year. Running some basic rules past the track now so I should have that all set in the next couple of days.
The crew member vs spectator question is valid IMO as there seems to be some different things going on out there. Some trackday orgs have gone riders only altogether. No pitbitches, wives, kids ect. I think people will want to know if it applies to racing as well. Is there a limit on pit crew members or bring the whole team kind of scenario?
