My wife has the outback with the 3.6 engine in it and I like driving it on trips. It’s a tack when we go to the mountains in the snow and this far we haven’t had any issues with 65k miles on it. buying experience as the Subaru dealer in Long Beach was great. When time comes I’ll get another - it’s the perfect car for wet dogs from beach or snow, etc.
They also make it in Red, White, Purple-ish, and Black. Good luck on selling it! FWIW, IMO, the "Outback" editions aren't worth it.
Yeah the 3.6 Outback is, or was alright - not slow, not fast but reasonable, nice all-around wagon. Have you looked at the Subaru lineup in the last 10 years? The "Outback" is its own model, not a sub model. The last time they had the sub model was ten years ago with the Impreza Outback Sport. The Impreza based Crosstrek really ended the Impreza Outback Sport designation.
