I think he's trolling us & they moved him to the assembly line putting turn signal levers on those BMWs and he's just too embarrassed to tell us he has such a useless job.
When I delivered pizzas, the best shifts were lunches. Delivering 30 pizzas at a time and being done in 3 hours is where it's at. I don't do shit during the day, I should try getting that job again.
Office, school, etc. I remember there was one guy at the PJ I worked at that was “the lunch guy”. He’d work 3 or 4 hours during lunch, take a few huge orders, and get $20+ dollar tips on each one. Plus they had some policy that the driver made something like an additional 25 cents on his delivery (you got 75 cents per delivery for gas) for every pizza over 5. Then he’d go pick his kids up from school and come back to work the dinner rush. He’s working 6 hours a day and pulling in a grand a week in tips, tax free (this was 1998).
You can definitely make an honest living if done right. I ain't that Goddam commited. I'm making enough right now to pay the bills, put a couple of bucks back, have a little mad money, all without killing my quality of life. That's all I want right now.
