Do they have an advantage over the teams who have had decades to build their teams?

Dude, they were able to build an all star team on a AHL budget.

Can't wait to see if seattle is allowed to do the same and what they are able to built.

I used to bet $10 on the Rangers winning the Cup every summer that I was in Vegas. Hasn't paid off yet:D

I like that Vegas is loaded with talent...the Caps are too. I'm personally a huge fan of European skaters because they play a finesse game due to the big ice. Both teams have an abundance of skilled players. Even Wilson has skills. He's sure as hell no Jody Shelley or Sean Avery. This should be a great series!

Wah Wah Wah! First they had to hire a GM and a Coach that had the same vision, communication, and desire to work together. Then those two had to have the skill to draft the right players from the available talent pool, because not everyone available in that pool were "all stars", some were aging players in expensive contracts, or unknown youngsters or players that the teams were through dealing with due to poor attitudes, plus they had to draft the right players in the regular draft. Then the players had to buy in to the system the coach was implementing and play as a team. If Fleury was such a hot commodity, teams would have been knocking on the Pen's door to trade for him. They aren't any where near the finals without him playing his ass off every night in the playoffs.

oh shit yeah, man, they did it right. From owner down to the guy selling the beers. I don't think they could have done it any better.

Gonna love seeing how Wilson reacts to having Reeves on the ice.
The series is going to be fun to watch.
