Looks like Tampa turned it around in the 3rd. Next game will be interesting. Looking forward to the Jets and Golden Showers!

Wow, two completely shit calls result in two PP goals.

Surely you ain’t seriously complaining about Wilson getting a penalty for another cheap shot to the head? I agree that the second penalty was bs but he did a good job of selling it and Oshie’s stick was head high which helped sell the call.

So you didn't see the hook on Wilson before he went into the goalie? They showed it a couple of times.

The talking heads at intermission even said they were bad calls. They just showed it again in slow-mo...Tampa's goalie sold it too(I'm not even going to try to spell his name!)

Anyone else I would be willing to cut some slack but Wilson gets zero fucking slack due to his previous cheap shots...you have enough hockey acumen to know how easy it is to avoid that goalie contact if you really want to

Vasilevskiy...:D Tampa got their ass handed to them.
There were bad calls but the Caps just outplayed them.
    On to DC.

Up until this past season, the old Caps would have folded like a bad lawn chair when they were dealt adversity. But the team this year has a different feel to it...kind of like sharks smelling blood in the water. Tampa got a couple of breaks that they capitalized on but these new Caps could care less. And they don't even have Backstrom in the line-up (who I personally think is one of the top 10 players in the world). I just hope they carry this pace when they head home for tomorrow's game. Seems like the home teams aren't fairing well.

Ovi smells blood. Backstrom's hand is healing well and will probably play.

Never forget that the Caps are a DC team and we can't have anything nice around here.

Except for in pro soccer but no one cares about that other than Euro trash, mexicans and latte drinking hipster doofuses .

So, you're saying I should believe?

In the immortal words of the great american poet Lee Ving, everybody needs to believe in something, I believe I'll have another beer.

If this works like everything else you cheer for, then please start actively supporting the Caps, Dave..

    Please?
