Sounds like South Africa is going to initiate a pogrom on Whitey. Maybe even chop ‘me up with machetes if they don’t leave. They’re not sophisticated enough to utilize the German method, so I doubt we’ll see any camps. If you’re a white devil in South Africa you should probably GTFO.

People get too caught up in word association games. They don’t bother to look into a situation, have empathy and try to see a point of view, they just scan for their trigger words.

You have to condemn Mandela because he was a “anarchist Marxist” (nevermind the contradiction there), and socialism=bad. Now we can’t celebrate the man who ended apartheid in South Africa because his ideology includes a word that triggers us.

No one intelligent is saying we should trade socialism for our system, but clearly it was better than the alternative in South Africa at the time. Can’t paint every issue with the same brush.

 

Let's revisit this in 30ish years when SA is another Zimbabwe and discuss whether apartheid was better or better than the then current system.

I do enjoy how these conversations always have such a moving point for who "stole" the land from who. You usually have to go quite far back to find someone who is completely innocent of using violence and / or deception to acquire land.

 

Not at all. Rhodesia was prosperous, an exporter of food with a reasonably safe society.
In Zimbabwe, starvation is a huge problem because they can't come close to feeding themselves.
The country is in ruins.
But at least they got rid of whitey, I suppose.
SA will end up just like Zimbabwe.

I agree. South Africa is doomed. Pretty sad too, it’s long been one of the best developed nations on the continent. Anyone have an idea how whites will be eliminated from South Africa? Will they be chopped with machetes by roving bands encouraged by the powers that be or will the pogrom be more organized? How long until South Africa is whitey free? I say machete chopped and give it 20 years until the whites have all been either murderized or ran out.

 

So is it your position that things have gone downhill since ‘94?
