Some r6 endurance questions

So I've done the 4 hours a few times on my sv, but never my r6.
1. How long can a r6 go on a tank ball park?
2. Can you go a full race on a front tire or is a change required?
3. Is it a bad idea to do a few 4 hour races on a supersport engine?

 

1. Depends on the track. Most tracks you will get about 50min before the light comes on.
2. You can do the entire 4 hours on one front (depending on compound of course)
3. Supersport engine should be fine depending on the build. After 4 races though, I would plan on a refresh.

 

Compound would be a sc2 most likely, I assume that would probably go the distance?

We ran the SC2 front on the RSV4 at PittRace. 1 tire. Did fine.
