I am Mongo's devil's advocate, but the discount card allowed me to afford to race one year longer than I had previously planned...or probably should have.

I would need to check on whether we still have the free entries and pole position for the class champions. Might not because we grid by points. (No more fax races at the banquet!)

 

I'm quite positive they closed in 1998 since 98 was my first year as an expert and my profile pic is from t1 at the bridge.

 

I got half off entry in that class (bsb) for the next season. Free entry for my GNF win.

Seriously though, FL region used to give a gate pass, for the entire season, for each class championship you won. That sadly went away, but if the grids grow again, i suspect will come back. It's pretty cool..

 

not really, that only happens if you win a race (races) at the ROC and/or GNF

damn dude, you woulda won WAY more championships with your name on your leathers ..
