    You can point to a couple instances and try to play it off or you can you note that the wikipedia page has ~40 countries listed in its breakdown of what is KNOWN.

    As for the rest of the balance of good vs evil - the church (as an institution) has only ever been about self-preservation from day one until today. And day one of the institution was in 325 AD at the council of Nicaea and not "Peter's Church" after Jesus' death.
