What do you put in yours? I am getting into them more but have been doing just basics like banana, peanut butter, yogurt, etc. Gimme some ideas.
My daughter makes ours. She puts lots of different things in them. Bee pollen is one of the more unusual things. She also makes acai bowls. You can get the base at most whole foods type stores. You can put more stuff in them because you don't blend it. Top with nuts, fruit, seeds, etc. She usually adds agave nectar, cocoa nibs and goji berries.
So the acai is already blended (frozen/refrigerated?) and you add your other toppings, oatmeal and other berries to the acai base?
I'm hooked on my morning smoothies. A small amount of mixed berries/banana's Tablespoon or 2 of steel rolled oats A trilogy of seeds, hemp/flax/chia Some powder blends from the walmarts. I think one's labeled energy, but I can't remember exactly what's in it, and some unprocessed cocao. Isolate whey protein powder (chocolate flavered) Unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk No clue how good it is for me, but I love it!

The acai base is frozen in chunks. We have one of those Ninja blenders. It will smooth everything out nicely. Typically you put the blended base (with agave syrup) in a bowl and put the other stuff on top. It's actually kind of a thing to decorate them like art.
I'm looking for new ideas, just that simple. Share a tasty one, energy one, healthy one, recovery one...whatever just share.
