SIDI Mag-1 Boots

The new top dog from SIDI, the Mag-1, is designed with direct input from Moto GP level riders featuring a more streamlined profile, lightweight design, internalized carbon fiber bracing and is available from Riders Discount today.



Weighing in at just under 4.5 lbs on our shipping scale for a size 44, the Mag-1 boots are considerably lighter than the Vortice boots.



With weight savings at the forefront of the new design, gone is the replaceable sole. However, SIDI uses a dual compound sole designed for longevity. Also note the heel cup is significantly cut back, still keeping protection in the key area but cutting away at the inside of the cup to maintain a slim profile and cut unnecessary weight.



All new Micrometric Techno-3 magnetic closure system is still just as easy to use as before but lighter than the previous iteration.

Synthetic leather is used throughout versus natural leather meaning there are going to be no imperfections with this boot. Also, the toe box is double stitched and reinforced for added safety in the SIDI Mag-1 boots available at Riders Discount.



The new refined adjuster system is stronger and easier to use. Using stainless steel cable held in place via magnets, the new Micrometric Techno-3 system is going to be even more resistant to breaking.

Available in three different colors with white available in either ventilated or non-ventilated, the SIDI Mag-1 boots look fantastic and are a great boot for the track or Sunday morning canyon rides.

The perforated are only available in the White/Black

 

Never understood why they didn't make a perforated black one in these. Would have bought a set in a heartbeat instead of there older model in black air.

 

We have the Vortice air in black if you need a black boot.
