Weve actually been giving serious thought to moving to Florida or the Norfolk Virginia area. I’d like to move to Norfolk. With the way things are progressing politically, we know which side we’re choosing and I’ve been feeling more and more drawn to colonial America…. So our view might change in the coming years.

My bro lives in Virginia Beach and loves it there. He deals with ships in Norfolk. Florida is amazing too.... I hope to get a place in Miami Beach one of these days.

 

that’s the other place we’re considering (Miami) My lady actually just started working for my corporation last week, so in the coming years we will be able to transfer together to wherever the fuck we want. there is a lot of demand for positions in Florida and Virginia. And for less than we would pay for a 1-2 bedroom condo here for ourselves we can get an amazing place in either location. I would LOVE to be close to DC and live in a beautiful colonial home

 

Norfolk and VA beach are not that close to DC and the route up is one of the heaviest traveled section of highway in the US with shit traffic.
Close to DC is Nova or parts of MD. Expensive, traffic all the time and even the parts you do not want to live will cost you $$$. It’s soul sucking here.

currently spending my Saturday welding a new A pillar inner structure and outer panel onto a 2022 Lexus ES. Had to tear the whole interior & dash just to replace that black panel

Views are always changing, boats been the same the last 10 months in the Bahamas, in the Southern Bahamas now more off the grid. Pic is a couple days coming back from a snorkel anchored at Conception island. We were the only boat there for 3 days.
