I knew this girl who made up a fantastic Halloween costume one year involving grave shrouds and Spanish moss... I don't think she was from around here.
Anytime the wind blows my yard looks like a silver blizzard came through. Just too much of it in all of these live oaks. Its pretty, but its a pain at the same time.
Ahhhh got ya. I never really noticed it down in SC - but then again on the sand we never had any grass under where the live oaks were full of moss - so when it fell on the ground it was nice to have something there other than sand and weeds
