Separating families?

Venezuela and Columbia are the only places anyone could even remotely claim "Asylum" from. Hell,Nicaragua is in the beginning stages of another civil war,but everyone is staying put and willing to fight back against the corrupt goverment there. These people that are making this asylum claim are just trying to milk it for what its worth like they've been taught to do. Shame to put your kids on the line like that.

Oh and you nailed the fraud aspect of it all. PR is a hotbed of birth certificate fraud/selling fake certs to their Latin neighbors as a means to get to the USA legally. This has been happening for quite some time....if we entertain all this asylum seekers BS just watch how quickly those numbers will grow.

 

It's not the best parallel, she'd have beef with Disney if she got caught stealing w/ her children present, they separate them to do their processing before OPD shows up and then THEY misplace her child.

Here's the thing tho, besides lying journo's cherry picking the info they want to share, we also CANNOT trust the family or guardians who take tese children. At this point, those people are also concerned about the Gov coming back to take/deport the kid back to their native land so they run or ignore calls or knocks on a door. No doubt it's a clusterfvck and it's easy for John/Jane Doe to demand a better protocol but when you have literally thousands every day or every few days, many of whom have children in tow....HTF do you handle those sheer numbers on a weekly basis, esp when your neighbor (Mexico) isn't helping the cause???

 

Not quite. She broke into Disneyworld. Got caught. Disney gave the kids to Dern to take care of them. He took off with them instead. Then she blames Disney.

 

In reality, that is probably how it went down....however, per her rant and what's causing the drama in WERA's flower today is the uncertainty of who has the kids.....hence my version.

 

It's supposedly happening to those that present themselves at a crossing and ask for asylum as well. If they're doing it as they're supposed to should those families be separated?

This afternoon I was watching Fox while a guy with Homeland Security being interviewed. He was saying that a ton of the illegals coming into this country are using any kids that they could find to claim that they were a "family." Fake families in other words. Four years ago there were roughly 17000 families that came into the US illegally. When they were admitted the numbers grew to where for 2017 there were 175000 "families" caught coming in.

They also finally brought up what I was posting in another thread about why has no one been raising hell over the past history of law enforcement where the children were not being thrown in jail with their parents. Were not those kids being ripped away from their criminal parents? Why just the illegals? Pure political BS. Kill us with emotion. Flood the airwaves with pictures of crying kids and "parents" that are crying and whimpering that their "kids" were being "ripped away from them."

As it stands now, there are three solutions according to one Senator. Return the complete family to their country of origin, separate the children from their lawbreaking parents, or just let all of them stay here. Our friend Chuckles Schumer wants all of them to be allowed in.
I honestly cannot figure out why any citizen of this country would be an advocate of just opening our borders and allow anyone, and everyone, come in without being vetted and going through the lawful path. Just think about this for a minute. If these illegals are finally given amnesty, what are the people that are following the law going to think, and finally do? They will do exactly as they did when Reagan allowed amnesty in the 1980s. We will be really flooded with illegals. It's frigging insane.

Can one of you libs tell me where you draw the line? When is it enough? I really want to know. Literally no one is against immigration, but you libs are denouncing all laws. So what is your end goal, completely open borders? Or do you want some laws and a secure border, if so when? Can one of you give any answer that makes some sense?

 

How do you feel about those who arrive at an airport customs checkpoint and state the same story if travelling to seek amnesty.

How do those who feel that the system is being abused suggest we change our tax code to ensure massive corporations can't declare "amnesty" in Ireland and the Cayman islands?

It's all very complicated, but treating everyone who dares to walk here and properly address border authorities like a criminal isn't the answer.

 

They won't be done till teams of Jihads sneak in Antrax and wipe out entire East Coast cities.

 

Treating them as an invited guest with free room and board isn't either.

 

According to the DHS, 10,00 of the 12,000 children being taken care of were entering the country with a non parent. So the decision to separate was made by the parents in the first place.

Should we simply just allow anyone with a child who comes into the country illegally to be able to keep the child they bring in, even when they are not the parents. You think we have issues now with human traffickers.

The notion that these kids are receiving inadequate treatment is laughable. They are getting health care, shelter and food. But yet the MSM spins it like they are in death camps.

 

At a 'staffed' crossing or out in the desert somewhere? Part of asking for asylum, you're supposed to be able to show cause, have docs, etc... If they're showing up at a staffed border with docs, I think those folks should be treated differently. But to be clear, there IS a processing period so they would more than likely be split up during that period, rightfully so.

You can't? Here, lemme help you, those darling Democrats have, apparently, been losing some of their historical base so like a lamb being thrown into the lion's den, they are salivating at these illegals as a means of culling new voters. Now imagine if they succeed in that goal and manage to relocate them, thousands of them to red States.

A staffed crossing, doesn't seem like they should be separated during the processing period if they're doing things properly. Taking a toddler from a mother who hasn't done anything wrong isn't something that should be done.
