    My sister had one that retailed around 40k. Two karat Tacori. Local place offered ~10k, online offered ~8k, a small custom jeweler gave me 13k. Like so small I had to wait a week to cash the check.

    I’ve always heard that half of new is best case scenario, but finding a buyer is next to impossible. The guy that bought mine thought he could build a new mount and make some money retailing it, but knew he could get what he had in it wholesale-hence the reason he offered 13k.

    Buddy who brokered the deal owns a half dozen pawn shops.
