Searched the current rulebook for 'mini' and didn't see anything for tech specs or CC rules.

    Does a rulebook exist?

    Pretty straight forward....

    a) There will be 2 WERA Mini’s classes as follows:

    Superbike 50

    50cc - 65cc 2-stroke machines based on Superbike rules

Up to 125cc 4-stroke machines based on Superbike rules

    Formula 80

66cc to 85cc 2-stroke machines based on Formula rules

126cc to 150cc 4-stroke mahcines based on Formula rules

What about the belly pan, does it require a 1-pc like the big bikes?

I assume that the entire tech section (safety wire, etc) all applies to the mini's, correct?

They are a little more lenient with some of the rules such as the belly pan, but even if they didnt require it I would still recommend the safety wire.

Ok, I have the OEM 2pc lower, so Im going to email to atleast get a warm fuzzy so I dont have an issue at tech.

    Safety wire is done.

    Thanks for your help,
    Andrew

Most of the minis are motard or motard based with a few GP framed 85/150s. The GP style bikes would have full bodywork but I don't think I have seen any of the motard minis with lowers.

I run an NSR also and I used a catch can. I had no problems with tech.

+1 catch can to the carb overflow and crank case vent. ALthough with my crankcase vent I have about 3' of vent hose (after the stock vent filter doohickey on the frame of the xr100) and a filter element on the end that has not caused any trouble with tech to date.

How do you find out if WERA is running a mini class at a track?
