"It's more looking for confirmation that the thing you want to do or are already in the process of doing is correct rather than actually wanting the correct answer."

i believe they call it confirmation bias.

OK, I'll bite and answer this. I suspect that Yamaha recommends you use a XX-40wt oil. If this is the case just use their T6 5w-40w synthetic. Excellent oil. Synthetic is especially good for race bikes that sit unused for 7+ days as it has a longer lasting film which protects during cold starts which most in the know will tell you is something that can cause a high amount of wear. The synth also lasts longer between changes and will offer just a slight bit more protection when your engine experiences near meltdown conditions. Now wait for the debate to begin....................:D

  8. I'm so confused. Do I fill the michelins with wd40?

No, the WD40 goes on the outside.... you fill the inside with rotella

That's right, and as an added benefit the oil inside the tire dynamically balances it at all times......Genius

(it only works w/ Michelins thought)

It's a well kept secret that MotoGP uses lightweight oil inside the tire. It's how they achieve those lean angles.

to hit 65 degrees of angle in the winter, use 0W20.

No seriously, it stablizes and counteracts the gyroscopic effect and rotating mass.

  14. Is this hot out of the fryer oil? Do I need to check the temps right when it comes out or can I check it cold and assume it'll get the same results?
