yeah, that was weird. they were on tour. crossing into canada. stopped at customs in the middle of the night. they went to wake him up. he was dead.

saw them a couple of times. i think i would have had a heart attack wearing those huge foam things for an hour. hilarious show. ones that stuck out were va beach in about 1987, and boston in about 1995 or so. so rediculous.

Not correct.they were around several years when that movie came out.I've hung out with Dave a bit in the early 90's.

 

Not my type of music, so I'm not familiar with them.
That was the 1st I ever heard of them.

 

They played around NC all the time. I never dug them. They had a heavy following for sure.

Damn, sucks to hear this. I've seen them twice, once on Halloween at the electric factory in philly. They had the greatest live shows.
