Nice!! Do you work for yourself, company or just a hobby? The company i'm at is a 120 year old high-end woodworking co that used to get alot of carvings to do in our contracts, but times have changed and not so much anymore. But when we get carvings to do,im one of 2 guys that get the jobs. Love the repurposed grip idea!!

The one with the black head has a laminated bamboo handle. Very light, very strong.

Some of the exotic woods come from all over the world and have crazy names. They all finish differently and offer a real education.

Is someone has a pair of the light gray PRO-GRIP grips, ill make you a mallet with one if you let me keep the other.

I’m thinking about marketing an exotic wood mallet set with interchangeable heads, some UHMW and some a variety of woods with varying densities.
I’ll sell it for, like $900...

    I’m kidding.

Architual woodwork/millwork.......basically very high-end cabinetmakers.....but NOT kitchen cabinet type stuff. Thats what most people think of when I use that term for the trade. Ive got a ton of pictures of my most recent job......working on posting them up later.
