Anyone have an idea how much less a bike with a reconstructed title is worth than the same bike without? The bike was not crashed but was beaten with a hammer by the owner's girlfriend. The insurance company totaled it and my mechanic bought it, fixed it up, and is wanting to sell it. Neither one of us knows what it's worth. It's a 2002 Daytona 955i with about 20,000 miles. I know it's not good for racing (don't want to race it), just want something different for the street. Estimations?

The best estimation of value is what you are willing to pay for it. Sorry for the lack of help but it is truely a buyers market right now. So its only worth what your willing to pay. Your insurance company will not pay out on it again cause an insurance company has already paid out on that bike.

Are you saying I can't get full coverage on it?

you can, but the insurance company will not pay out on it.
