    Hey all
I use the OEM V-tube for rear master reservoir on my Honda 125. I use dot 4 and have replaced the tube yearly (precautionary) due to the tube turning a whiteish/filmy shade. This occurs even after a full master assy rebuild prior to 2019 season.
At the top portion where fluid is not constantly contacting the tube looks as it should, clear. And the fluid has always looked as though nothing is amiss when changing.
I’ve seen other 125s with years of life out of these tubes with no issues like I’ve described.
I store the bike in the house when not in use, routinely pump it as I walk by every few weeks.
I’m at a loss - it doesn’t seem to affect performance, but I’m growing tired of replacing it. I have tried different fluids yielding the same result. My only thoughts are moisture is contaminating the system somehow. Master has been rebuilt, OEM line replaced, potentially caliper issue?
I only use it coming into pit so I’m not overly stressing it but it is something I’d like to eliminate!
    TIA!

I was going to say mine looks clear as a bell. But just went and looked at it, and mine has a slight of a white haze to it. Never noticed it before. I have been using the same tube for about 5 years now. I only get out a 5-10 time a year. Maybe something with heat cycles of the fluid? That is just a total grasping at straws thought.

Yes it is strange but I’m only getting months out of these tubes, I’ve even seen street bikes with the conversion that have no issue.
The only component left is to rebuild the caliper but I just don’t see it being an issue.
It may be heat cycles, I’m so lost on it since I’ve seen/heard others get years out of them

Yes, the tube in the ebay ad is the exact part number that I have used and replaced several times since I got the bike.

What brand fluid are you using? Have you changed to a different brand?
